Queens Modern is a project created to explore vernacular modern architecture in the borough of Queens. Since its founding in 2014, the project has expanded to look at architecture, architects, and modern design trends across the rest of New York City and the region. Today, the project encompasses a website documenting more than 500 examples of modern buildings and sites, an in-depth look at more than a dozen local practitioners, articles, presentations, and walking tours.
