Triboro Hospital for Tuberculosis, 1940.

This building was once a large hospital for tuberculosis patients. Known as the “T-Building” the facility was designed by architect John Russell Pope, and later by the firm of Eggers & Higgins after Pope’s death. The Moderne style structure was completed in 1941. It has been saved and is being converted to supportive housing now
