428 East 11th Street Building Date : 1852 Original Use : Residential Original Owner : Stevens Original Architect : Unknown Description & Building Alterations Originally a five-story tenement was built on this lot along with 426 East 11th Street. They were raised to six stories at some point after 1970. In 2007 the two buildings were combined and renovated during an alteration designed by OCV Architects.

The present facade features a molded cornice, brick facing at second to fifth stories, stucco at the sixth story, and a new simple modern front at the first story.
