In the summer of 1978, my mother moved into the 92nd Street Y. During her time at the Y, she worked a part-time job as a secretary in an employment agency, while attending Hunter College. While growing up, I learned about all the wonderful times she had during the two years she lived there from her and her best friend, my "Uncle" Jack. As a tribute to him, and their time at the Y, I decided to do a deep dive into some of their favorite spots.
