PS 10 World War Memorials
I researched some of the names on the World War I memorial plaque located in the lobby of PS 10 to discover more about the men and the families of those men who made such a great sacrifice for our country over a hundred years ago.

Benjamin Kanter lived here.

Kanter's WWI draft registration card. 461 East 11th is actually the same address as 461 Stratford.. At the time of his registration Kanter was working for the Edison film company.

At first Kanter was thought to have been killed. Then it was thought that he was only wounded. It turns out he actually was killed.
