Prior to boarding the SS America, they toured New York for a few days. This is my Mom standing on the corner of 48th Street and Lexington Avenue (that’s the Chrysler Building in the distance).

Once they made it back to New York they stayed for a few days to explore the city. This is a photograph of my Uncle, who's now Older than Dirt (inside family joke 😉) on the terrace of 215 East 79th Street. He joined them for the New York portion of the trip. I used the 3D view in Google Maps to help me identify this location. The irregular windows on the right-hand side of this photograph helped me pinpoint the photographer’s position (it took some time ⏳).

After a night with their friends, they went on a boat tour around the city. This is a photograph of the George Washington Bridge from the Hudson River.
