The Cambria Heights branch and Saint Albans branch of the Queens Public Library have been a consistent place of safety and engagement during my time as a youth. Both locations would have events and workshops that have fed my interests but also exposed me to things I did not know about. I am forever grateful for them serving as an unofficial after school program and resource center for books, DVDs, CDs, printing and most importantly internet access.
