StuyTown-Peter Cooper Village
From Amy Peck: Amy Peck (me), 2 years old on shoulders of her father, John B. Peck, near where they lived, probably taken by my mother. Starve a rat day, an event on 21st Street Chelsea, on the block I lived on from 1966 or 1967 until 1979. I am in the background wearing the same plaid pants as in photo titled 20th street, which is Amy Peck 7 years old and her sister Sally Peck 5 years old. I think my father liked the advertisements.

Kimlau Square
From Aaron Eng-Achson: Here is a photo of my dad (Allan Eng-Achson) and me. My father was an active leader in New York City's Chinatown. I always felt very proud of my father when I stood next to him. He was a World War 2 veteran and served in the 1st Armored Division as a technical sergeant. He was very active in the American Legion Lt. B.R. Kimlau Post 1291 and served as Post Commander from 1985 to1986. This photo was taken at the Kimlau Memorial on 22 Chatham Square, New York, N.Y. 10038, at the conclusion of the annual Memorial Day parade. In the background to the left, you can see a tall brick building which is Confucius Plaza. He was one of the original founders/board of directors and the first office manager of that affordable housing complex. For more info go to: https://chineseamerican.nyhistory.org/allan-eng-achson/
