This Northwestward view of the Corn Exchange Bank on the northwest corner of Post Avenue and 207th Street shows the Third Avenue Railways 207th Street Crosstown Line trolley tracks as well as the elevated IRT Broadway-Seventh Avenue Line. The Corn Exchange Bank was a retail bank founded in New York State in 1853. Eventually it merged with Chemical Bank in 1954 and went under the name Chemical Corn Exchange Bank, later dropping Corn from the name under new mergers.
