In an article from “The New York Dramatic Mirror,” new photoplay theaters were highlighted including the Dyckman Theater, which was stated as opening December 1, 1913, with new motion pictures and vaudeville. In this 1926 image “Lost at Sea” starring Lowell Sherman and “Romance of a Million Dollars” are listed on the marquee. Funnily enough, “Lost at Sea” is a “lost” silent film and is registered among 7200 lost U.S. silent feature films by the Library of Congress.
