A series of three similar views from the above location across Bryant Park and the New York Public Library to Fifth Avenue and 42nd Street intersection. The latter is plaiuly shown and predominates with the Salmon Tower Building (No. 11 W. 42nd Street). Adioining samo to the left is the 18 story Aeolian Building (No. 29-33 W.). To the right is the Lefcourt National Building,a st ucture that replaced tho Temple Emanuel at the N. E. co:ner of Fifth Avenue and 43rd Street. This today would be obscured from this vantage point as the 500 Fifth Avenue Building was subsequently erected adjoining the Salmon Tower. Note the Urand Central Building
in the background.
