Varick Street, east side, between Beach and Laight Streets, showing the front of St. John's Chapel, P.E. The railing here shown, was brought from England. The church has been demolished and on its site stands now (1937) station V of the United States Post Office. For a rear view of the Church,see York Street, west from West Broadway to
St. Eohns Lane.
