P. S. 108, Sal Abbracciamento, Brooklyn

Designed by James Naughton and built in 1895, P.S. 108 is located at 200 Linwood Street in the Cypress Hills section of Brooklyn. This distinctive Romanesque Revival brick and Lake Superior sandstone school building with prominent pavilions (atypical of this style of architecture), quoins, dormers and a paneled chimney was designated an historic landmark in 1981. Named in honor of Sal Abbracciamento, P.S 108 continues to serve the community as a public school.
