The (Mostly Lost) Houses of Shore Road
Once lined with grand homes complete with stunning waterfront vistas, today Shore Road is dense with apartment buildings constructed to support a booming Bay Ridge population in the 1940s. These are a few of those lost houses (and a couple that remain)!

This is the oldest house in Bay Ridge and one of the oldest free-standing Greek Revival houses in Brooklyn. It was moved from Shore Road to 95th Street in the 1910s.
