The Historical Museum, formerly the Richmond County Clerk’s and Surrogate’s Office, is a charmingly scaled, red-bring building in a simplified Italianate Style built in 1849. It is part of the Richmondtown Restoration effort to restore and celebrate the local heritage of Staten Island.
