Arbor Water, a glacial pond formerly located near the main entrance of the cemetery, was removed in 1911 to make way for Green-Wood's Historic Chapel. The pond is seen here from the rise of Bay Grove Hill, behind the angel sculptures that once adorned the Chambettaz Mausoleum. The spires of the Receiving Tomb are visible to the left.
