Mausoleum of Cornelius Kingsland Garrison (1809-1885), ca. 1875.
The Garrison mausoleum is one of the largest and most elaborate tombs at Green-Wood. It was designed by architect Griffith Thomas (who is interred at Green-Wood) in the Moorish Revival style, and constructed in the early 1870s. The elaborate stone fence seen in these early photographs has since been removed.
