Structures located at the Eastern Entrance to Green-Wood, ca. 1880.

After Green-Wood made several expansions to its land area to the southeast, the Eastern Entrance at Fort Hamilton Avenue (now Fort Hamilton Parkway) was opened in 1876. The two structures located there, a residence and a visitors lounge, were designed by Richard M. Upjohn and completed in 1878.
