Bay Side Dell, also known as Clinton Dell, is home to the monumental statue memorializing DeWitt Clinton (1769-1828). In this image, circa 1875, elaborate landscaping featuring planters and a variety of trees can be seen on the central grassy expanse of the dell. This lot would later become the final resting place of Nathaniel Currier (1813-1888) of Currier & Ives fame.
