"98th Street, adjoining the northwest corner of Jamaica Avenue, showing the J. B. Napier house. It was built by John B. Napier, who settled in Woodhaven in 1844 and died in 1890. The Napier farmland comprised 7.7 acres (1909), extending north from Jamaica avenue, along what is now 98th Street, to Park Lane South, the southern boundary of Forest Park. The eastern limit was the Long Island Railroad bed, 1923."
