E. 41st St. east of, adjoining, and at the NE corner of 2nd. Ave. Essex House at the right, is no. 313-327; and the Hotel Tudor, shown nearing completion, is no. 305-309 E. 41st St. This is the 12th unit of the Tudor City development. The Daily News Bldg (1929) occupies the entire west side of 2nd Ave. from 41st to 42nd Sts.In the background may be seen the Chanin Bldg (1928) in the same position on Lexington Ave.
