Manhattan: 6th Avenue - 18th Street (West)
Sixth Avenue, east side, north from West 18th Street, showing prominently the former Seigel-Cooper Department Store building. This occupies the entire frontage of the 18th to 19th Streets block. Above same are additional former retail establishments. These were Alexanders and Cammeyers. Beyond is the office building, No. 7. W. 23rd Street that contains the Masonic Temple. The Empire State Building at 34th Street overshadows this structure.
View 2 emphasises the Seigel-Cooper building. This in its
day was one of the outstanding stores of the city.
