The structure seen at the left (No. 66 Mott Street) has been sold by the Lafayette National Bank and will be modernized at a cost of $15,000 according to the new York Times of October 13, 1938 . It will then be rented to Chinese concerns for the purpose of merchandise display, in anticipation of World's Fair visitors to this locality.
