West 42nd Street, at the N.W. corner of Fifth Ave., showing the site cleared for the skyscraper, No. 500 Fifth Ave. The 4-story building, adjoining the clearance, and whose side wall is exposed, is No. 508. North of same, at the S.W. corner of West 43rd Street is the 8-story Ziegler Building, No. 510-14. Appearing on the right are three buildings, Nos. 513-11, 509 and 507; the 10-story Postal Life being the first and located at the S.W. corner of East 43rd Street.
