Manhattan: Riverside Drive - 86th Street (West)
Riverside Park, at West 89th Street, showing the Soldiers and Sailors Monument. It was erected in 1902 to commemorate the valor of those who died in defense of the Union during the Civil War. Paul E. Muboy is the sculptor. It is made of white marble in the form of a small circular Greek Temple with a peristyle of twelve Corinthian columns.
