Manhattan: Central Park West - 70th Street

Central Park West, west side, from 70th to 74th Streets. From 71st to 72nd Street stands the new Hotel Majestic. Above it is the Dakota, and beyond the Dakota is the San Remo. Of these three, only the oldest stands today. The Majestic and San Remo have been replaced by apartment houses bearing the same names.
The wooden building nearer the Majestic is a saloon, with a beer wagon in front of it drawn by the brewer's big horses.
